"Outrageous discrimination"

I have my whole career in information technology, with 20+ years in manager and chief information officer and project/program Manager positions, and often involved in correcting establishing best practices corporate culture related issues.

After retirement, I join our HOA board of a retirement community. One of the board member sent me an email stating "Your English is so poor, I can't believe you are a senior manager."

I brought this discrimination issue to the board, the board voted this is a "personal" issue, didn't want to get involved.
